LR has been invaluable for me keeping track and understanding photography, I have learned so much from using it.
I have read several different books about LR they have all taught me something. However the detail Victoria brings to understanding everything you wanted to knowor what is available that you didn't know in LR is Awesome.
After reading her book I am using the book module now to print some of my own books. I never considered it before because I didn't have time to figure it all out. Thank you Victoria. You need this Book! This valuable volume answers the questions you have about Lightroom Classic, the version that keeps your photos on your system, not in the Cloud.
I bought a "used" version through Amazon, which was brand new, but had been unsold. While it was published over two years ago, the underpinnings of the LR узнать больше have not changed, and the author answers questions clearly, and gives you the reasons and resources to correct any errors you may experience, and to help you correct issues with the cataloging process, back-up files and corrupted files, while emphasizing the importance of being sure you have verified copies of your images that you can retrieve in case of a disaster.

She is consistent and I can rely on her to keep me up-to-date. I am an experienced semi-pro photographer.
IMHO, Victoria Brampton stands head and shoulders above all other authors when it comes to clear, easily understandable explanations, logical format and sequencing of the information, complete with "go to" notations if a particular section may be not relevant to some photographers. The book is brilliantly organized, clear, concise and coherent in presentation and a "must" for all levels of photographers.
I generally purchase this book every other year, unless there has been a massive update like the one Adobe released in the fall of One person found this helpful.
I downloaded this book after being frustrated with Lightroom tutorials, even those created by Adobe. I am still going thru "The Missing FAQ" page-by-page to really get a grip on the tools and capabilities of Lightroom, and it has been rewarding. I have hacked my way thru both Lightroom and Photoshop in the past, but now am ready to take a very deep breath and really understand how both work.

I found it very confusing and very awkward in the sense that I was expected to read twenty pages on any ссылка topic before I went on to the next. It told me what I needed to know and even told me what pages I could skip and come back to later. Highly recommended if you are just staring out. This book is great. I have read and used other Lightroom books but they just barely cover the surface. This book goes into every aspect of Lightroom Classic CC.
I am only half way through and I have learned so much in much more detail than I have seen before. And you get access to her website and a discussion forum which is very responsive to your questions. If you have Lightroom Classic CC, forget the other books. This is the one to buy. I am impressed by the easy-to-read and easy-to-find format.
